- Keep calm. Help the patient lie down. Remove glasses. Loosen tight
clothings.
- Clear the area of hard, sharp or hot objects which could hurt him.
Keep rolled up towel or pillow under his head.
- do not allow people to gather around him. Alow free air cieculation
& open all windows.
- Do not restrain the convulsive movements.
- Do not force anything between the teeth.
- Turn him to the side to drain salive from the mouth.
- After the attack,if the patient is sleepy,allow him to do so.
- Do not offer the patient anything to eat/drink till he is fully conscious.
