During / after a seizure -- seek urgent medical
help if---
- Patient is injured.
- Has repeated seizures.
- Patient is unconscious for a long time.
- Has difficulty in breathing.
- This is the first seizure.
Follow up after a major seizure ---
- If a person has never had a seizure before,he ,along with the close
relative & an eye witness of the attack must visit their Doctor
as soon as possible.
- If a person already diagnosed as having epilepsy has a sudden change
in the type or frequency of his seizure, he should seek further medical
advice within the next few days.
